When we think we are alone... ...
Precious Lord, Take My Hand

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn
Thru the storm, thru the night, lead me on to the light
Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.

When my way grows drear, precious Lord, linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call, hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.

When darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand, guide my feet, hold my hand
Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home.

Loving you guys always,
JonKling ~~

I Asked God...
Hey Nona-merians! Here's a really lovely poem as well! Haha, koped it from Grace who was once in our yf on Friendster... Enjoy!

...I Asked God...
I asked God to take away my pain.
God said, No.
'It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.'
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
'Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.'
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
'Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is earned.'
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
'I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.'
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
'Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to Me.'
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
'You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.'
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
'I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things.'
I asked God to help me love others, as much as He loves me.
God said...
'Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.'

Isn't it so true? Let's ask of our Father the right questions today!

Heaven's Grocery Store
I was walking down life's highway a long time ago,
One day I saw a sign that read Heaven's Grocery Store.
As I got a little closer, the door came open wide,
And when I came to myself I was standing inside.

I saw a host of angels. They were standing everywhere.
One handed me a basket and said, " My child, shop with care".
Everything a christian needed was in the grocery store
And if you couldn't carry them, you could come back for more.

First I got some patience. Love was in the same row.
Farther down was understanding, you need that everywhere you go.
I got a box or two of wisdom, a bag or two of faith.
I couldn't miss the Holy Ghost,
For He was all over the place.
I stopped to get some strength and courage to help me run the race,
And though my basket was getting full, I remembered to get some grace.

I didn't forget salvation, for salvation, that was free.
So, I tried to get enough of that to save both you and me.
Then I started up the counter to pay the grocery bill,
For I thought I had everything to do my Master's will.

As I went up the aisle, I saw prayer and I just had to put that in,
For I knew when I stepped outside, I would run into sin.
Peace and joy were plentiful, they were on the last shelf,
Song and praises were hanging near so I just helped myself.

Then I said to the angel, Now how much do I owe?
He just smiled and saif, Just take them everywhere you go.
Again I smiled at him and said, How much do I really owe?
The angel smiled again and said, "My child, Jesus paid your bill a long time ago."

what a sweet poem(:

IMpossible
"When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." - Matt 19:25-26

For this year's Teenz Games, the motto for the event was IMpossible. At first, somebody wondered, "Why impossible?" Well, it was meant to look like that but the emphasis was on the letters "IM"! It actually meant IM Possible! (I'm possible)

I'm sure that the German football team in this year's World Cup had a "I'm possible mentality". In the weeks leading up to the match, expectations for the German team were low. Most people, including many Germans, did not expect them to go far. Many criticisms were dished out especially to the coach.

They proved us wrong! They made it all the way to the semis, only to be defeated by the Italians! Wow, wasn't it a big task for them to perform? To reach the semis? Didn't people label the task as "impossible"?

Many a time, we feel life and situations are too tough for us to handle. My classmates in school ill-treat me; my schoolwork is too much; my parents will never be saved...

"It's just not possible!"

Is it impossible? Is anything too hard for our Lord?

If you read the previous verses, our Lord's disciples wondered who could be saved if it was hard for a rich man to be saved. Imagine how hard it is for a camel to pass through a needle!

But the wise words from our Lord says it all. "With Godall things are possible!" Truly, any task is possible to Him; the battle for the lost is not ours really, it's our Lord's! We labour to spread the gospel but salvation is of the Lord!

My dear Nona-merians, we proclaim that we are concerned for the lost especially that of our parents and loved ones but God knows our hearts. Do we actually mean what we say or do we actually think it is impossible? "No lar, you don't understand, my parents can never get saved one..." Really? Is anything too hard for our God, who made the entire universe?

We get discouraged while serving 'cos things don't work out.... Rejoice!!! Because the ministry you are serving in is of the Lord, not yours! Once we start to cast our worry to Him and start standing on His promises, isn't everything possible?

Let's be a tribe who view everything as possible! Why? Because our Lord is in charge!

Impossible is nothing! =)

Your impossible bro,
JonC

Tribal Issuez...
Hey Nona-merians... !

Haha, you would know by now that 2 new tribes are coming up by the grace of God! Dunno if i'm supposed to reveal the names of the tribal leaders though... Oh, anyway, if by any way you feel led to join any of the other tribes please pray about it... And really pray about it! Not like a 5 min prayer but over a few days; prayer is serious business! Please please don't do it because your friend is moving to another tribe because the best place to be is truly in our Father's will...

And if God clearly shows you the way to go, whether to join a tribe or not, then you have our blessings!!! Haha, the Nona-merians have grown up!! But do let us know of your decision =)

Thank God for seeing us through half a year! Haha, I remember every meeting together, from the time we thought of a name (Chai suddenly shouted, "Nona-me" at the sunken area and all of us were stunned) to the time we had prayer just 2 weeks ago (all he younger ones prayed)... God saw us through...

Kailing and I are always praying for you guys so let us know your requests... As your leaders, we really want to know your specific requests so we can pray for you better!

So until then (tonight!), God bless and take carezzz...

PS. Horn, you gonna do a post on Agape Love? ahaha...

Always Agape-ing you guys, (not just Phileo)

The Nona-merian Update
Hey Nona-menians!!! How are you guys? Thank God 'cos our dear Brother Seto has designed 2 logos for us... Well, it's not exactly a logo but an image with our name there... Nvm, you'll know it when you see it... so... Comments? Remember to thank him tonight! Thanks for your labour of love brother!

Also, we're actually looking for pple in our tribe to design a logo for us! Something which symbolises what we stand for so that we can put it anywhere! On tshirts, on our blog, even "tatoo-ed" on hornsau's arm! (i'm just kidding, haha we shouldn't be having tatoos lar cos our body is a temple of God) So... if you feel up to the challenge and feel led, why not? Our camp tshirt was done by Pengfei from [s.u.r.f]2 so let no man despise our youth! =)

as mentioned in the tagboard, we're also looking for a permanent person to update our blog and maintain it =P so if you feel led as well, why not?

Your Bro,
JonC

V About Us
Nona Me ; Children Of God.

We are Nona-Merians, always dying to self day by day, hence the name "Noname"!

Since we have no name, we are all strangers on earth yet citizens of heaven!
We pray that we will have a loving relationship with Him moment by moment every single day of our lives!

When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were an off'ring far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all...

Are we giving our all to the Saviour today?
God bless you guys
