  2. Those taking exams in the weeks to come
  3. For the merging of campus and Teenz, for common vision and a new name!

Also, our bro HornHorn has suggested we have a study group this week or something for anyone, esp the people taking O-lvls... Wondering when would be a good time for you all? Let me know ya? =) any questions can just call or email me too!

Just Checking In
"Just Checking In"

A minister passing through his church
in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar
and see who had come to pray.

Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw
the man hadn't shaved in a while.

His shirt was kind a shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head,
Then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed,
each noontime came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
A lunch pail in his lap.

Well, the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,
"What are you doing here?"

The old man said, he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
For finding strength and power.

"I stay only moments, see,
because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
This is kind a what I say:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM
CHECKING IN TODAY."

The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome
To come and pray just anytime.

Time to go, Jim smiled, said "Thanks."
He hurried to the door
The minister knelt at the altar,
he'd never done it before.

His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT
I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY."

Past noonone day, the minister noticed
that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim,
he began to worry some.

At the factory, he asked about him,
learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried,
But he'd given them a thrill.

The week that Jim was with them,
Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious.
Changed people, were his reward.

The head nurse couldn't understand
why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came,
Not a visitor he had.

The minister stayed by his bed,
He voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared.
He had nowhere to turn.

Looking surprised, old Jim spoke
up and with a winsome smile;
"the nurse is wrong, she couldn't know,
that in here all the while

Everyday at noon He's here,
a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,
Leans over and says to me:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM,
HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,
AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN.
ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS CHECKING IN TODAY."

If this blesses you, pass it on
Many people will walk in and out of your life,
but only true friends will leave
footprints in your heart.

May God hold you in the palm of His hand
and Angels watch over you.

But for those of us who are already His, He not
only holds us in the palm of His hand, but has
engraved our names there, and we are continually
in His sight (Isaiah 49:16)

Aren't we blessed to be right in the palm of our Lord's hand! Imagine each and every one of us are there; it must be a crowded place!!! Yet our God is able to see EVERY ONE! Isn't that amazing? =)

When everything else fails, let's not forget that our God is perfect and already knew the very trouble was going to happen anyway! He's using that to mould you into a better child for His use!

Thank You, Brother! Thank You Father! Thank You Lord!

Washing your feet,
JonC

I Love You, Lord

I thank You, Lord, for all You've done,
I don't deserve your love;
When I was lost You saw my need,
And left Your home above.

I love You, Lord,
I love You, Lord,
Because of Calvary;
I love You, Lord,
I love You, Lord,
You're everything to me.

You proved Your love on Calvary,
You bore my sin and shame;
I'll live for You through all my days,
I'll praise Your holy name!

I love You, Lord,
I love You, Lord,
Because of Calvary;
I love You, Lord,
I love You, Lord,
You're everything to me!

Thank you, Lord!

Are We Ready To Leave This World?
Dear Nonamerians!

At first I was afraid to share this with you but the Lord rebuked me and I realized Christ could come anytime, even while you're having your exams! Even while we're at school! May we continue to bring others in the saving faith of our Lord...

Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Mat 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Ps. Hope you weren't shocked by the loud bang, but by the message that lies behind the video..

Your Bro,
JonC

A Letter From My Friend
Hey Nonamerians, here's an email from my army fren which he sent around June. I was clearing up my inbox when i stumbled upon this letter and I'm sure he wanted me to pass it on... Truly, we must count it a blessing that we have religious freedom in Singapore... Take care bros and sis...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
dear all,
i was born into a family where my parents were christians. i was really blessed. today i made a call to one of my friends, a young soul and a young child of God, who longs after God's word, pining for answers, seeking for the Truth.. her dad picked up the call and asked who i was... i simply told him that i'm her church friend... i was ignorant of the situation that the family was in... that her dad was against christianity, and i guess this father gestured to her something that made her realise this call from me is a tragic one. i hear her call out over the phone.. and i felt really bad. not because i'm ashamed as a christian, but simply due to my ignorance, some young soul would have her relationship with her father in jeopardy. i believe her dad still loves her alot, and wants the best for her... and i do believe that now, how i live as her friend, how this friend of mine behaves and everything would matter... not that in the past these didn't matter, but now, i see the significance. that decisions made in the temporal moment would have a place in eternity, actions done in the passing world would be significant forever, and time is now given a place in timelessness. let us keep this friend and her family in prayer, as we entrust them to God, that God may work in His time and His name be glorified... also for all those who're suffering the same... not for God to take away these threats, but that God may mould their character and hearts, and thru' these they may have spiritual maturity and continue to be a blessing and beacon to others around them.
dear friends, my heart shattered. not because i spoilt a friend's night.. but because i realised, how blessed i am and yet i live otherwise. religious freedom was given to me, but i took it for granted. sometimes even when i have religious freedom i still refuse to share the gospel with people sitting beside me on the bus, or a colleague lunching with me.. and yet many others who do not have such freedom are fighting for the gospel of God to reach out to others... i was taught a lesson..
Religious freedom is never a freedom that man has the right to give.. :)
to God be all glory and honour..
(Jon's fren)
Loving you guys,
JonC
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God created all of us, whether big, small, short or tall! =) Do we ever stop to think that He created us in His own image! How special that must be! Just a thought when i saw these two pictures... Think about them...
Both pictures show lavender flowers in the farm. One shows the same colour flowers while the other, rows and rows of various types of coloured lavenders!
Which is more vibrant? Now, imagine the colours of the second picture all mixed up in a garden! What beauty, what vibrancy! In the same way, God made us all in His own image, yet different in our unique way! =)
Once we truly realize we are made in the exact way He wanted, whatever disabilities we have, whatever height we stand, the way we think and solve problems, we can be content because we are made perfect in His eyes.
Deu 7:6 For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Bring Us Back To The Cross, Lord
Dear brothers and sisters... Let's ask our Lord to bring us back to the cross...
An Excerpt from "Boy Meets Girl" by Joshua Harris..
In the book When God Weeps, Steven Estes and Joni Eareckson Tada give the following account of Christ's death. As you read, refuse to let the scene be familiar. Let its reality shock you and break your heart.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The face that Moses had begged to see - was forbidden to see - was slapped bloody (Exo 33:19-20). The thorns that God had sent to curse the earth's rebellion now twisted around his own brow...

"On your back with you!" One raises a mallet to sink in the spike. But the soldier's heart must continue pumping as he readies the prisoner's wrist. Someone must sustain the soldier's life minute by minute, for no man has this power on his own. Who supplies breath to his lungs? Who gives energy to his cells? Who holds his molecules together? Only by the Son do "all things hold together" (Col 1:17) The victim wills that the soldier live on - he grants the warriors continued existence. The man swings.

As the man swings, the Son recalls how he and the Father first designed the medial nerve of the human forearm - the sensations it would be capable of. The design proves flawless - the nerves perform exquisitely. "Up you go!" They lift the cross. God is on display in his underwear and can scarcely breathe.

But these pains are a mere warm-up to his other and growing dread. He begins to feel a foreign sensation. Somewhere during this day an unearthly foul odor began to waft, not around his nose, but his heart. He feels dirty. Human wickedness starts to crawl upon his spotless being - the living excrement from our souls. The apple of his Father's eye turns brown with rot.

His Father! He must face his Father like this!

From heaven the Father now rouses himself like a lion disturbed, shakes his mane, and roars against the shriveling remnant of a man hanging on a cross. Never has the Son seen the Father look at him so, never felt even the least of his hot breath. But the roar shakes the unseen world and darkens the visible sky. The SOn does not recognize these eyes.

"Son of Man! Why have you behaved so? You have cheated, lusted, stolen, gossiped - murdered, envied, hated, lied. You have cursed, robbed, overspent, overeaten - fornicated, disobeyed, embezzled, and blasphemed. Oh, the duties you have shirked, the children you have abandoned! Who has ever so ignored the poor, so played the coward, so belittled my name? Have you ever held your razor tongue? What a self-righteous, pitiful drunk - you, who molest young boys, peddle killer drugs, travel in cliques, and mock your parents. Who gave you the boldness to rig elections, foment revolutions, torture animals, and worship demons? Does the list never end! Splitting families, raping virgins, acting smugly, playing the pimp - buying politicians, practicing exhortation, filming pornography, accepting bribes. You have burned down buildings, perfected terrorist tactics, founded false religions, traded in slaves - relishing each morsel and bragging about it all. I hate, loathe these things in you! Digust for everything about you consumes me! Can you not feel my wrath?"

Of course, the Son is innocent. He is blamelessness itself. The Father knows this. But the divine pair have an agreement, and the unthinkable must now take place.

Jesus will be treated as if personally responsible for every sin ever committed.

The Father watches as his heart's treasure, the mirror-image of himself, sinks drowing into raw, liquid sin. Jehovah's stored rage against humankind from every century explodes in a single direction.

"Father! Father! Why have you forsaken me?!"

But heaven stops its ears. The Son stares up at the One who cannot, who will not, reach down or reply.

The Trinity had planned it. The Son endured it. The Spirit enabled him. The Father rejected the Son whom he loved. Jesus, the God-man from Nazareth, perished. The Father accepted his sacrifice for sin and was satisfied. The Rescue was accomplised.

~~~~~~~~~
Don't move too quickly from this scene. Keep gazing.
The Rescue accomplished here was for you! John Stott writes, "Before we can begin to see the cross as something done for us (leading us to fath and worship), we have to see it as something done by us (leading us to repentance)... As we face the cross, then, we can say to ourselves both 'I did it; my sins sent Him there," and "He did it; His love took Him there.' "
Did you see your own offenses on the list of sins that necessitated the Cross? If not, name them yourself. Name your darkest sin. Now reflect on the fact that Christ bore the punishment for that sin. He took the punishment you deserved. Do you feel His passionate and specific love for you? He died for you. He was condemned and cursed so that you could go free --- He was forsaken by God so that you would never be forsaken (Hebrews 13:5)
That's what Jesus' death on the cross has to do with (any of our sins) right now.
Isa 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Imagine opening your mouth without a measurement! If you were really hungry, how large would your mouth be? The truth if, Hell is expanding itself! It's not just about having a bad day! It's about spending ETERNITY in an everlasting DAMNATION! What are we doing about it?
Even as I search now for a suitable picture to portray hell, I am saddened at the way the world views hell. Many think it's a joke and not real...
2Cor 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
V About Us
Nona Me ; Children Of God.
We are Nona-Merians, always dying to self day by day, hence the name "Noname"!
Since we have no name, we are all strangers on earth yet citizens of heaven!
We pray that we will have a loving relationship with Him moment by moment every single day of our lives!
When I Survey The Wondrous Cross
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were an off'ring far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all...
Are we giving our all to the Saviour today?
God bless you guys
